Jamb finally put an end to 2019 UTME registration form

The sale of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has finally come to an end. Jamb commenced the sale and online registration of the 2019/2020 UTME form on Jan. 10 and was scheduled to close on the 21st of February.

The Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin said that the online registration for UTME 2020 was still going on.

He said that the online registration was still ongoing. This is because some people bought the e-pin earlier for the exam but were not able to register before now, and said they would be opportune to register. He added that the exact total number of registered candidate is unknown for now until this is over.

Dr Fabian Benjamin further said that the registration would continue until the board decides. The board was yet to decide on a new date for both mock and main examination. Though, they has promised to give update on the exam date as early as possible.

Report claims that the board postponed the initial date for the examination because of the shift of date for the general election by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

JAMB 2019 Suspended Exam Centers

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board have suspended 17 computer based centers due to involving in different kind of malpractice issue. The exam board have suspended those centers from registering candidates for the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

JAMB Head of Media, Dr Fabian Benjamin said that the suspension would not affect the process of the examinations in any. The board had over 700 accredited centers nationwide.
